Finding talent for our film

        Much of our collaboration to create the perfect film has to the creation of a prototype-film that will be tweaked and edited creating our best possible film opening. Upon immediate group discussion, our similar interests, especially regarding skateboarding, have led us to want to create a film centered around skateboarding. Although the exact specifics of the film haven't been completely decided, our film will feature several shots of skateboarding in a rural area.
      In order to achieve this goal of getting a bunch of actors that are good at skateboarding to come film with us,  in costumes that fit our intended look, a lot of planning has to be done. Therefore, I began to text some of my friends, who have been skateboarding and could fit our desired look, to come film with us. This week I went to the skatepark and talked to many of the locals I grew up with, and pitched our project to them. Although we cannot pay them, most of them were okay with the idea of helping us and agreed as long as we gave them advanced notice.
      Having these actors is vital to our envisioned film and overall is a great step forward to creating an opening we would all be proud of. Overall, I am very ecstatic about this addition and am eager to see how our movie progresss.
